Da Capo

Da Capo was founded in 2007 under the musical direction of John Adams, since when it has established a considerable reputation for fine a cappella singing. The choir has built a substantial repertoire of music suited to a smaller number of voices and one which spans six centuries and many countries. Please take a few minutes to listen to some of the clips on the Listen page.

The style of music the choir enjoys performing ranges from sacred to secular and from serious to humorous. Concert programmes typically reflect that variety, with a blend of shorter pieces and musical styles which has been well received by audiences. In addition to staging concerts, the choir also enjoys visiting cathedrals to sing services.

Da Capo's home base is Warwick and the choir has performed in a number of local churches, including St Mary's, St Nicholas' and All Saints'. Moving a little further afield there have also been performances in Hatton, Hasely, Ilmington, Preston on Stour and a short lunchtime programme at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford.

We are always seeking new venues and while a choir always needs funds to survive, we are very happy to stage an event in support of a good cause. If you are interested in engaging Da Capo to stage a concert, sing at a wedding or any other event, please see our Contact page.
