Eleanor Edwards

Arts or sciences?
Arts. I like the idea of sciences…
What's your daytime job?
Lawyering and looking after Percy, my lovely mini-Rex (house rabbit).
When and where did you start singing?
At the tender age of 8 with the Jacobean Singers, a peripatetic choir to be found loitering around Anglican churches of Sydney.
What's your favourite choral piece of music?
A cop-out perhaps, but quite impossible! Most heart-tugging Purcell, peppered with a little bit of Howells, garland-laying Pearsall, Monteverdi Vespers.
What are your hobbies?
Singing, seeing friends and especially my clever god-daughter, remembering my history degree.
Wine, beer or spirits?
Vin, particularly of the bubbly variety. Partial to fortified wines of my homeland.
What is the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow?
The things you have to know when you're a king…
